Here’s how:

1. Download Resource Hacker.
2. Copy the file C:windowssystem32msgina.dll to C:windowssystem32msgina2.dll
3. Open msgina2.dll in Resource Hacker, and save the image at Bitmap->107->1033 as an image file on your desktop.
4. Edit that image file in your favorite image editor.
5. Go back to Resource Hacker, and replace the image at 107->1033 with your new image, and click ’save’.
6. Then regedit  HKLM-> Software-> Microsoft-> WindowsNT-> CurrentVersion-> Winlogon and create a new registry key, a string with name Ginadll with the value msgina3.dll. (if the key is not already there, you must add it)
7. Restart the computer.

Voila! You’ve got a nice, custom logon screen, within your domain environment. And you’re users will think you are such a professional admin
